Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens

I finally made it to the botanical gardens, after 20 something years. I heard so much about it from relatives and friends. Since I want to spend more times outdoors and less indoors, I was happy to finally just be one with nature.

I was worried about the hiking part of things, as I am not really a fit person (that's putting it nicely) the hiking part is actually not that bad. I saw a dad in Crocs carrying one kid on his shoulders and one in each arm as he did the hike, it's not going to kill you, but also be prepared, I wore trainers but if you wore a comfy pair of shoes you could do the hike. I did the hike around midday with a lot of stops, yeah, there are enough spots to take breaks take pics and just enjoy the views. I didn't actually stop to enjoy the plants and flowers as I was rather excited to do the hike and on my out I was just tired to stop and smell the roses. Just one more reason to go back, soon.

My overall experience is that I definitely need to go back a lot, in fact, as its close to home and the entrance is R40 and you don't feel the walking till the next day.

Pizza Rolls

I love pizza, it can be served hot, cold or a day old and I will still be asking for the last slice. I don't claim that this is an original Drizzlesdomain recipe, but I did discover it all on my own. I don't know if a lot of people will call this a pizza since it is being fried, but hey, I'm calling it a pizza roll because it's just as yummy.

You will need:
6 slices of bread (it can be white, brown, whole wheat, ect)
6 slices of cheese (or you can use grated cheese, it will melt better)
1/2 cup peppers (or more depending on how much you like it)
Rolling pin
Chopping board
Bread knife
Egg (beaten)
Egg brush
Bread crumbs
Oil
Frying pan
Fork

Method:

Start by cutting off the crust of the bread.
Roll each slice of bread till it has no puff (air) left and its basically flat.
Lay out the cheese slice and add peppers and one end of the bread, but not near the edger's. (If you are using grated cheese lay in on the edge like you did with the peppers in the middle of the bread.)
Roll up your bread starting with the end where you lay out your peppers.
At the end of the bread, brush your egg on and stick it close and press the sides close. (I would advise to use fresh bread as older bread will fall apart and not stick so easily together.)
Dip the rolled up bread in the egg and give it a good shake in the bread crumbs
Heat your oil to a high heat, I filled my pan with enough oil to fry the crumbs not cover the roll as I don't want the bread sucking the oil.
Place one in at a time because the oil is hot and the crumbs will turn golden brown quickly I used a fork to turn it over.
If the cheese is not melted as it was too quick in the oil pop it in the microwave for 30 or less seconds.
Bon Appétit

Style

What is style?

For me style is simply being able to match pieces of clothing to tell your story. It doesn't need to be the latest or the most expensive, it needs to mean something to you. Keeping up up trends can be a positive influence on how you pull an outfit together and with platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, weheartit, Tumblr outfit inspiration is just a click away.

My style varies as my mood does. And I'm not loyal to one specific style as I never can actually plan an outfit and stick to it. I usually prefer bold accessories and a killer heel, but lately I've been branching out in clothing, I never wanted to wear figure hugging dresses because I am not in the best shape, but early this year I purchased my 1st shaping undergarment and it changed my life it only took me like forever to get the memo but I will definitely not be going back. There has been moments when I just couldn't wait to get home to undress and just lay on my bed allowing myself to finally breathe.

My style has changed so much, but one thing that I see with myself when it comes to my personal style is that I love black tights and a good heel.

Eid Ootd

I thought I would share my Eid outfit with you guys as I haven't really done any look post, or any blogging for months now and I apologize, I am currently having major internet issues and trying to get it fixed, it's proving to be very difficult I am most lucky to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Initially I had a different dress, but once I started fasting and eating right, I seem to have lost weight and that dress looked less appealing to me as I wasn't a fan of the fit any longer.

My boots I had purchased a while ago as I hadn't purchased a good pair of boots for a few years now, as last year I wore a sandal for Eid. Hopefully I get more organized in the shoe department as my 1st love is shoes.

The accessories of the outfit were my favourite but the body chain was super annoying on the day and I haven't worn it since hopefully I will figure out how to wear it without wanting to pull my hair out.

Giorgio Armani RTW

How wonderful is the internet that I get to enjoy Milan fashion week all the way here in South Africa. Looking through the collection I just fell all over in love with office wear. Of course Giorgio Armani is not your typical office wear, but it does make that blue Monday all worth and makes working the system all more fun when you dawn your pants suit from the Armani brand.

With this outfit you are slaying that business meeting.

I need one for Winter, does the model come with it?

Why don't I have colleagues like this?

I love this ensemble

Yes, please!

That jacket is everything.

This is my favourite for sure

I just can't get over this piece of art.

This dress is gorgeous and the colours
Just pop off the fabric.
