My Love for Men's Fashion

I love men’s fashion, now I am too much of a girly girl to wear men’s clothes, I love my heels, but every now and then I want to wear something from Zacks closet and rock it. I do feel that men’s clothes are made with a lot more care.

I often wear Zacks clothing and get into trouble; I don’t buy my own garments to indulge in my habit of wearing men’s fashion, but if I had to my top 3 items would be.

1.       A men’s watch

2.       A men’s shirt

3.       And a men’s pair of sunglasses.

Boy’s are so stress free, they never worry about repeating a whole outfit again, if they love a piece of clothing they will wear it, over and over again, with me if I like something, I keep it for special occasions, and I always try and I try to never repeat an outfit but if I do I make sure its months apart.

Zack and I wearing the same shirt.

March Look Book

I was meant to do this post on the 1st of the month, but I had other commitments that delayed the posting, so 4 days later here I am writing about my march Look book.

Some days I have all the time to choose an outfit, and other days look just happened as I am in a rush, I hope to actually put looks together in advance, up until then I will do my best to instgram pictures every day of my looks.

I often repeat outfits and items, I buy what I love and I want to wear it in as many ways as possible and sometimes I love a combination so much that I want to repeat it again.

It's autumn now so most days are still warm and could manage to dress summery and I did manage to wear a heels a lot, but my feet might be taking a break from my heels as my work load is slowly increasing day by day.

Ombre Obsession

I am  obsessed with ombre anything, so I just had to had to get an ombre hairstyle. I had it done by my trusted hair stylist Khadijah, her twitter handle is @_khadijah_i  and if you are in the Azaadville area look her up, she's talented young and refreshing to all this old school people I've had my hair done by. I don’t take a lot of care of my hair the most I do is a coconut oil treatment, which is bad I know.

I have been dying my hair since a young age, I love it, I love having options and I love the fact that I'm not stuck with just one colour for the rest of my life. I use normal store bought conditioner and shampoo

Hair care is not my strong point I need help desperately. I see a lot of home remedies online but have never tried it, I am considering trying out a few, maybe I will do a post on it soon

Nokia lumia vs Samsun S4 Mini

Nokia lumia

-          The charging time was short and the battery lasted long even with all my apps running.

-          I could not download BBM

-          I could only load certain pictures onto instagram

-          The memory card went in on the side so I didn’t have switched the phone off to remove my memory card.

-          Comes in cool colours and can change the covers.

Samsung S4 Mini

-          Changing time is long, so if you need to go somewhere in a hurry leave the phone and go. Also, I had to uninstall most of my apps because the battery life just wasn’t lasting.

-          I can download BBM

-          I can load any picture on my memory card onto instagram

-          I have to switch the off to take out the memory card.

-          Also comes in a variety of colours, but you can’t change the covers.

Nokia lumia and Samsung S4 mini

-          Both take good quality photos

-          Both are long and slim

-          Both are full touch screen phones.

-          The Nokia was no clear on how to delete all personal information on the phone.

-          I can download any app on the S4 mini but the Illumia had difficulty downloading certain apps.

I rate the Nokia Lumia a 8 out 10 and the Samsun S4 Mini a 6 out of 10.

Stores need to get their S**T in Order!

So recently I have been very irritated with the sale stuff in certain stores. If they aren't following me around the store watching my every move there is no one around to assist at all. I love shopping at a certain store and I have noticed they keep there changing rooms locked. I am ok with that, but please keep your stuff in order, I can't wait 15 minutes just to try on something.
Also, what I do not get is why certain stores don’t have prices on their clothes.
So that brings me to Today’s post:
Online Shopping vs Actual Shopping
Online shopping
-          I don’t have to get out of bed for online shopping and the website can tell me if they have stock in my size immediately
-          The goods I order online is delivered straight to my door
-          I avoid the hassle of seeing people and getting upset all together.
Actual Shopping.
-          With Actual shopping I can fit the item on and see how it fits rather than wait a coupler days only to realize I don’t want it.
-          I can take the garment with me home the same day.
-          I might come home with a headache from frustration.
What are your thought regarding online shopping vs going into the store and shopping.

Love me, Leave me, I don't care just don't touch my Drizzles!

Miss VeetSA 2014

View from the Veet Villa

Yesterday I took part in judging the 10 finalists who were competing to be Miss Veet SA 2014. I was a judge along with a few other media personalities and we got to meet all the girls at the Veet Villa that is also known as the Munro Boutique Hotel. We had one minute interviews with each of the 10 finalists and we had to score them. The girls were friendly and easy to relate to it was not difficult to pick a favourite.

On arrival at the Veet Viller we were greeted by Cindy Nell and Melinda Bam, and we had our pictures taken, then we were greeted by the Veet PR team and escorted to our table and upon reaching the outside we were at a loss for words at the view of the venue.

After finding seats and making new acquaintances we were spoiled by the most amazing looking finger foods, we then got to have a sneak peak at a photo shoot the 10 finalists did the day before in bikinis.

We then were all moved to a seat and viewing area to meet the finalist and Poppy from 5fm was the MC. After meeting the girls and scoring them, we it was about 15 minutes later that the winner was announced. The winner of Miss VeetSA2014 is Katlego Phajane

Katlego Phajane 24 years old, originally from Pretoria, Katlego is currently studying for a qualification in Quantitative Management and dreams of becoming a successful model and entrepreneur. As Miss Veet SA 2014, Katlego has an opportunity to establish a modelling career, through a professional modelling contract to the value of R150 000.00, and also walks away with other prizes to the value of R100 000.00.

Immediately after her crowning moment, Katlego had this to say: “I am very excited about my new adventure; it has been a great learning experience thus far and thank you to Veet for this opportunity. I am looking forward to my reign as Miss Veet”.

I would like to Thank the Veet Team for inviting me to be part of the judging panel.
