Calvin Klein, Inc., yesterday announced that Calvin Klein Jeans will host a dynamic music event in Hong Kong on Thursday, June 11th.
The invitation-only event will feature soon-to-be announced musical performances – as well as a special appearance by global superstar and 30-time platinum-selling phenom Justin Bieber. Bieber, who stars alongside Dutch supermodel Lara Stone in the global Spring 2015 Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear advertising campaigns, is planned to appear as a guest of Calvin Klein.
The event will be held at the massive Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a repurposed industrial cargo hall with panoramic views of the Hong Kong skyline, located in the heart of Victoria Harbour overlooking Kowloon Bay.
Fans who are unable to attend will be able to experience the event around the world, via imagery and content posted to calvinklein.com as well as the brand’s official, global social media channels, where they will get behind-the-scenes access leading up to the much-anticipated event, as well as during the evening by following the dedicated hashtag, #calvinkleinlive.
The Calvin Klein Jeans brand has a long-standing connection to music and has hosted music events in other cities around the world including Sao Paulo, Beijing, London, Berlin, Paris, and Mexico City, among others, but this event marks the first time the brand has held a music event of this scale in Hong Kong. Calvin Klein has previously hosted musical acts such as Pharrell Williams, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Jessie Ware, Iggy Azalea, Far East Movement, The Drums, and HAIM, among others.
